In Milwaukee, WI at the University School of Milwaukee tomorrow over 180 language acquisition facilitators have gathered at the inaugural Comprehensible Midwest Conference to get better at the art and science of delivering compelling, comprehensible input to their student learners!
In addition to supporting and promoting comprehension-based teachers in the Midwest, CIMW is dedicated to helping teachers learn how to deliver compelling, comprehensible input in ways that are more joyful, equitable and effective for 21st Century learners.
Comprehensible Midwest is affiliated with IWLA and MCTLC and is sponsored by theUniversity School of Milwaukee and Ignite Chinese. Some of the top names in comprehension-based language teaching and training are on hand with compelling sessions, including Dr. Stephen Krashen, Haiyun Lu, Carol Gaab, Justin Slocum-Bailey, Anna Gilcher, Rachelle Adams, Amy Roe, Craig Klein, Faith Laux, Señor Wooly, Jim Tripp, Mike Coxon, Mira Canion and more!
Participants represent 7 languages and have come from 11 different states!
