If you’re a TCI language educator, you know about the iFLT. And you likely already know that iFLT 2015 is going to be in St. Paul this summer.
You may not have known that it’s going to be held at Tartan High School, one of two high schools in my district and the school into which my 8th graders from Skyview Middle tend to matriculate.
And that’s the reason I’m posting today. Because lots of my current and former students will be the student bodies in the iFLT Learning Labs!
The Learning Lab idea, which is how the incredible Diana Noonan trains new language teachers in Denver Public Schools, is unique to iFLT. It’s what makes iFLT iFLT.
You, the teacher participant in the conference, get to observe seasoned, master TCI teachers implementing best practice strategies with REAL students.
I’m honored to co-direct the conference this year with Carol Gaab, President of TPRS Publishing, and to be included as one of the 5 Learning Lab teachers this year. I’m humbled to be included with the likes of Jason Fritze, Karen Rowan, Linda Li and Sabrina Janczak… wow! What a crew!
